Texas Guinan: First Talker

TEXAS GUINAN made dozens of adventure pictures during the silent screen era. Most had a Western theme. Then Warner Brothers invited her back to California for a "talking picture." 
• • Uncredited cast member Mae West appeared in one scene, clad in furs and smiling, positioned next to Texas.
• • "Production to Start Soon on Texas Guinan's First Talkie" • • 
• • Production will begin next week on Texas Guinan's first talking picture, "Queen of the Night Clubs," a Vltaphone special by Warner Brothers. Miss Guinan will leave New York for Hollywood on Sunday.
